Jon Clay

Jon Clay has over 25 years of experience in the natural history and environmental filmmaking sector and has worked with many individuals and companies that are active in this space. His films have won many awards, and his 3 years working on the Our Planet Halo - the impact campaigns surrounding the Netflix hit series Our Planet - gave him unique insights into how impact strategies work and why they often fail. He produced and directed the Netflix feature documentary Breaking Boundaries, which received high praise from climate campaigners, including John Kerry, Leonardo DiCaprio and Christiana Figueres. He recently produced David Attenborough’s augmented speech to global leaders at COP26 in Glasgow and is now directing a new feature documentary for a private foundation about what it means to reconnect with nature.
